Friday night rewind
Five items of note from games around the country:
1. The usual suspects help St. Cloud beat Wisconsin 4-1. Ryan Lasch has two goals and Garrett Roe with a goal and an assist.
2. Bemidji State continues to roll along with a 6-1 thrashing of Huntsville. Every player on BSU's top three lines had a point.
3. Jacques Lamoureux potted No. 6 of the season in Air Force's 2-2 tie with UConn.
4. Ohio State, which comes to The Ralph next weekend, got hammered 8-1 by Ferris tonight. The other team that's coming, Miami, continues to roll. The RedHawks gave up only 14 shots and scored two shorthanded goals in a 3-0 win over Western Michigan.
5. Duluth beat Minnesota in overtime. And guess what? It wasn't even a Connolly or Justin Fontaine who scored the game-winner. Travis Oleksuk gave the Dogs the win.

A few other items of note:
- This is the second 1-0 loss for the Sioux in Magness Arena in three years. Jean-Philippe Lamoureux was the goalie for the last one.
- UND got a very nice night from the fourth line of Mike Cichy, Corban Knight and Danny Kristo. Cichy made several plays to set up scoring chances. Coach Dave Hakstol said that they didn't hide the fourth line from anyone -- that they played against every DU line.
- The Sioux switched their lines up a little bit in the third period to try to get something going. It worked to a certain extent. The Sioux had far more shots on goal in the third. So, I think there's a good chance we'll see new units in the series finale.
- Denver defenseman Patrick Wiercioch could play in the series finale. He might just play on the power play. I'd expect Paul Phillips to get Saturday night off.
- Brad Eidsness has some very good numbers right now: 1.55 GAA and .932.
