Gameday final: UND 4, Bemidji St. 3

First period

UND 1, Bemidji St. 0 -- Chris VandeVelde (Evan Trupp, Matt Frattin) 1:41. VandeVelde buries a two-on-one chance early in the game. Trupp enters the zone and puts a pass on VandeVelde's tape. VandeVelde makes a move on Dalton and scores.

UND 1, Bemidji St. 1 -- Matt Read (Tyler Scofield, Brad Hunt) 5:51. Bemidji State executes a two-on-one of its own. Scofield flipped a pass over a diving Ben Blood right to Read, who buried it into the open end of the net.

Bemidji State 2, UND 1 -- Ryan Cramer (Shea Walters, Ben Kinne) 6:26. The Beavers score on their second straight shift when Walters sets up shop behind the net until he finds Cramer on top of the crease.

Bemidji St. 2, UND 2 -- Evan Trupp (Matt Frattin, Chris VandeVelde) 13:51. VandeVelde wins a face off and gets the puck to Frattin along the right wing. Frattin centers it to Trupp, who is in the slot, and Trupp buries it five-hole.

Bemidji State 3, UND 2 -- Tyler Scofield (Matt Read, Chris Peluso) 18:22. UND closed in around the net on a good scoring chance, but can't get the puck in the net and Read sends Scofield in alone on a breakaway. Scofield fights off a hook and puts the puck between Eidsness' legs.

Second period

Bemidji State 3, UND 3 -- Brett Hextall (Brad Malone, Andrew Kozek) 3:00. Malone found the puck off to the side of the net and took a hack at it, getting it to Hextall on the other side. Hextall one-times it past Dalton before he can get over.

UND 4, Bemidji State 3 -- Ryan Martens (Evan Trupp, Matt Frattin) 7:11 (pp). The Sioux go forward with a draw and a scramble ensues in front of the net. Martens is able to put it in.

Third period
