Developing our areas vast resources for clean, affordable, sustainable, home grown energy.

Fargo ranks #1 for overall environment in EDN poll

This recent poll was brought to our attention at City Hall by a California journalist.

It is a poll done by a group called Earth Day Network.

Fargo can be proud of the foresight and good work done by city staff like Enterprise Director Bruce Grubb and City Administrator Pat Zavoral along with leaders like Jon Lindgren, Bruce Furness and others that served on earlier commissions.

Fargo and our region has much more progress to make in this exciting area.  The city of Fargo and it's citizens are working hard to be leaders in environmentally responsible conservation and renewable energy development. We have a great opportunity in our area to keep the momentum growing toward an even cleaner, greener community that embraces conservation of land, water, energy along with developing more of our areas home grown, terror free, renewable energy sources.

It's not only good for our environment, it's also good for growing, sustaining and diversifying our economy and energy sources.

North Dakota has a better mix of renewable energy resources than the rest of the country and the research facilities are also top of the line.  Please notify our legislators today, and the rest of the session, and ask them to support more funding for home grown, terror free, energy in North Dakota.

Tell them you agree with 93% of North Dakotans that want more state funding for renewable energy development.

As North Dakota native General Chuck Wald says:

"The United States energy challenge is North Dakota's great opportunity!"
