Video on Dragons recruit Fred Henry
Below is video highlights Patrick Henry wide receiver Fred Henry, who signed with Minnesota State Moorhead earlier this week. Dragons coach Joel Beard likes the versatility Henry could potentially give MSUM on offense, playing in the slot and also lining up in the back field.
The Dragons announced that 17 new players have beenn added to the program on national signing day.

University of Mary buzzer beater
Check out this solid video and great radio call from the University of Mary's dramatic upset victory against Concordia-St. Paul in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference women's basketball. Marauders freshman Shaunna Knife beat the buzzer to give Mary the 67-66 win Saturday against the Golden Bears.
That's former voice of the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks and former North Dakota State Bison radio man Jack Michaels on the call.

Tomeo resolution to come Wednesday
Minnesota State Moorhead athletic director Doug Peters said Tuesday night the school has reached an agreement with head football coach Damon Tomeo (below), who had been place on paid administrative leave in October. A news conference in planned for Wednesday. Peters would not elaborate further. WDAY-TV reported Tuesday night sources told them that Tomeo has resigned.

Dragons open home NSIC schedule against St. Cloud State
Minnesota State Moorhead plays its first Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference home game tonight against St. Cloud State at Alex Nemzek Fieldhouse. The women's game starts at 6 p.m. with the men's game scheduled for 8 p.m.
The Dragon women (7-0, 2-0 NSIC) are coming off a road sweep vs. Bemidji State and Minnesota-Duluth last season. Senior forward Alison Nash-Gerlach leads the Dragons, averaging 14.1 points per game.
The Dragon men (3-4, 1-1) split their first two conference games against those same two teams, edging Bemidji State and losing in the final seconds at Minnesota-Duluth. St. Cloud State was the preseason pick to win the NSIC. Junior guard Taylor Witt leads the Huskies, averaging 20.2 points per game. Sophomore guard Jake Driscoll (pictured below) is averaging 17.1 points per game to lead the Dragons.

Dragon women edge closer to Top 25
Minnesota State Moorhead came close to cracking this week's USA TODAY/ESPN Division II Top 25 coaches' poll in women's basketball. The undefeated Dragons (7-0, 2-0 NSIC) are the third team listed in others receiving votes.
MSUM hosts St. Cloud State and Concordia-St. Paul on Friday and Saturday at Alex Nemzek Fieldhouse. Those are the Dragons first two home Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference games this season. MSUM won conference games at Bemidji State and Minnesota-Duluth last weekend.
Dragons senior forward Alison Nash-Gerlach (below) was named NSIC player of the week after recording back-to-back double-doubles against Bemidji State and Minnesota-Duluth.
