1960: Fire Burns Down Store, Except One Chair

The fire that burned down Mansch Brothers Furniture and apartment in Slayton in 1960 claimed everything except a single chair.
This chair was sat upon by Russell Gillette as he watched the fire, because if you're going to watch a fire, and there's a comfy chair, you might as well use it.
Note: We are having some technical difficulties today. It may be a while before I can post the next photo, but I'm hoping to have it some time today.
